Boyfriend Top the Oricon’s Weekly Chart

 

Boyfriend released a limited edition album, We are BOYFRIEND, in Japan on June 6 before their official debut in Japan.
We are BOYFRIEND is a limited edition album released in Japan, which combined three single albums of Boyfriend released in Korea. As of June 18, it topped the Oricon’s Weekly Chart.
Starship Entertainment, Boyfriend’s agency, says, “Although many Japanese fans already have Boyfriend’s Korean albums, Boyfriend’s limited edition album topped the Oricon’s weekly chart. We suppose it’s because there’s a large number of new fans of Boyfriend. We really appreciate.”
Boyfriend recently made a contract with Bing with the best offer for K-pop singers. Bing is the biggest Japanese agency, to which B’z, Zard, and Kuraki Mai belong. They will hold a premium showcase titled, “First Date with Boyfriend in Japan,” on June 30 at Budokan.
Because it’s the largest debut showcase for a Korean singing group, many people in the Japanese music industry are paying close attention to it. Boyfriend will release their Japanese debut single album, Be My Shine~君を離さない~, on August 22.
Boyfriend are currently promoting their new song “Love Style.”
